AA has used ECONZ’s mobile dispatch solutions since the 1980s. In 2000 ECONZ was contracted to completely upgrade its original system. As a result, the CARD system was developed. In 2003 ECONZ was further contracted to provide a road assistance system, RoadComms 2003 was developed and deployed, the key functions ofthe wireless RoadComm system is the interactive mapping and also the ability to enable GPS tracking. The AA (CARD) system also has intelligent routing of jobs on conditions of availability, distance etc. |

In 2003 ECONZ was contracted to provide a dispatch system for the NRMA. (National Road Mobile Association), the NRMA is a major Roadside Service Provider in New South Wales, Australia. The CAD system was subsequently developed. The key element of the CAD system is Auto-Dispatching, the auto dispatcher can automatically allocate jobs by either Dispatch Region, Work Area and/or Service Provider level. The Auto-Dispatch engine has complex algorithms that have been fine tuned over a period of time to work very effectively. |

In 1994 ECONZ developed and installed a field delivery system for Telecom called FAS (Field Access Server). In 1994 Telecom employed hundreds of field technicians to repair phone lines, exchanges and home phone systems. These jobs were dispatched using their OUT (OpenUptime) system and line tests done on their NTS (National Test System). The ECONZ FAS system would interface with OUT, NTS and Telecom's IVR to deliver jobs to and receive updates from the field force MDTs. |

Looking at a dispatch solution in early 2004, the ECONZ developed product EService was selected. With EService Transfield is able to manage their field force wirelessly. EService is a wireless job dispatch and work order management solution for the mobile field force. EService is a simple web based work order dispatch software coupled with phone and Laptop software that enables the field service team to receive and respond to customer work orders in real time. |

In early 1999 ECONZ were commissioned to build a complete dispatch solution to meet Downer EDI’s requirements, the solution would be called “WorkNET”. WorkNET is a centralized nation-wide Call Dispatch System that enables information to flow to and from the work force wirelessly. WorkNET is a Server Client Model, with a wireless client in the field. WorkNET also has connectivity to receive jobs from other parties, eg. Telecom OUT, ICMS etc. Twelve years on, WorkNET is still a major component of the Downer EDI Call Dispatch function. |

In 2002 ECONZ was contracted to provide a dispatch system for Downer Australia. The resulting dispatch system is known as WorkNET and provides a computerised system for field force job management. WorkNET displays real-time job status information, job details and field operative information for the dispatch staff. There is low level auto-allocation of jobs to Field Technicians based upon the exchange area, work type and commitment times for the job and the work-area, roster, skills and capacity for work of the Field Technician. The environment is planner based and techs in the field close off their jobs via a website. |

In early 2009 ECONZ was requested to supply a solution that would facilitate the flow of Telecom jobs backwards and forwards into the Visionstream Dispatch system, the Telecom interfaces required were Chorus Cable Locate, OpenUpTime, National Test Systems and ICMS. The C.I.S application was developed and is used to transfer the jobs from one environment to another enabling Visionstream to manage jobs given to them by Telecom and to achieve their service deadlines. |
